Controversial Milwaukee Sheriff, David Clark takes job in Trump government
The man that once claimed ISIS and Black Lives Matter activists were forming an alliance to destroy America is accepting a top Homeland Security Department position. He would take over the office that coordinates the Department of Homeland Security’s outreach efforts for state, local, tribal, territorial governments and local law enforcement agencies. The position does not require Senate confirmation. The White house declined to comment, only stating via email that Department senior positions are announced by the various departments.
Clarke gained notoriety during the GOP national convention where he spoke up for gun rights and against Black Lives Matter. This is the same man, that under his watch several people have died in their jail cells; one that died for not given water which criminal charges will be sought for several people under Clarke, and a woman’s baby when she was not given proper medical attention as she gave birth in her cell. Can the Trump administration get any worse?
Outside Prosecutor Brought on to Investigate Trump Russia Probe.
I guess deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein felt the heat after his Memo on why Comey was fired, either that or he didn’t want to tarnish a stellar 20 plus year career in Washington. Whatever the case may be, He appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller special counsel for Trump-Russia probe. Mueller will lead a federal investigation into allegations that Donald Trump’s campaign collaborated with Russia to sway the 2016 election that put him in the White House. he will have far-reaching powers and the authority to prosecute any crimes he uncovers. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill generally welcomed the Justice Department action and praised Mueller for his integrity, but House and Senate Republican leaders said they would go on with their own investigations of the Russia matter.
Mueller, 72, was decorated Marine Corps officer during the Vietnam War. A former federal prosecutor, he is known for his tough, no-nonsense administrative style. Appointed by President George W. Bush, he became FBI director the week before 9/11 terrorist attack. Mueller was credited with transforming the FBI, putting more resources into counterterrorism investigations and improving its cooperation with other U.S. government agencies. Although Mueller will serve under Rosenstein, the job comes with independence.
GOP Lawmaker shying Away from the Camera’s
All day yesterday, not one channel could get a GOP lawmaker to discuss the allegation and Trump administration turmoil. Even FOX new out of all places couldn’t get someone to come on air. I’ think the top brass sent emails out to everyone to avoid cameras and discussing anything Trump until they united on talking points and stances they would take.
